Miklos Korodi
Miklos Korodi is the President and CEO of Intelligent Perimeter Systems,
Inc. (IPS), a U.S.-based developer and integrator of industrial and homeland
security products and services. In his role, Mr. Korodi oversees
product development, marketing, sales, customer relations and operations
functions, along with general management, in his role as President and
COO.
Throughout his successful career, Mr. Korodi has held a variety senior
management positions with large, well-established companies in the security,
communications and transportation industries, including ADT, Warner Amex
Security and Railway Express. While at ADT – the $7.2 billion dollar
provider of alarms, monitoring services, access control and video surveillance
systems – Mr. Korodi managed the growth and implementation of the
company’s residential and small business marketing programs as
Assistant to the President and Director of Corporate Development. Under
his guidance, sales in the residential segment increased over seven times
in less than three years.
Similarly, while at Warner Amex Security – a former division of
Warner Amex Cable Communications – Mr. Korodi led the restructuring
and turnaround of Warner’s struggling alarm company, as well as
the restructuring of the company’s entrepreneurial QUBE organization.
Following his work at ADT and Warner Amex Security, Mr. Korodi founded
a number of successful private ventures. Just prior to joining
IPS, Mr. Korodi founded International Wireless Associates, a nationally
recognized provider of professional consulting services for growing technology-based
companies throughout the United States. While at International
Wireless, Mr. Korodi was responsible for marketing and sales strategy
development and implementation, and he worked closely with dozens of
public and private sector organizations to identify new product and service
ideas and improve operational efficiency.
Prior to his experience with International Wireless, Mr. Korodi was the
Chairman and CEO of Cellular Data Inc., a Silicon Valley-based telecommunications
services company. In this role, he spearheaded the development
of a consortium of “Baby Bell” companies, which developed
the first national wireless communications infrastructure in the United
States. During his work in Silicon Valley, Mr. Korodi was nominated
for the high technology community’s prestigious Entrepreneur of
the Year award.
Before his work in the security industry, Mr. Korodi held a senior leadership
position with Railway Express. While at Railway Express, Mr. Korodi
created the design for a superior freight car that is still being used
by leading rail transportation companies today.
Mr. Korodi currently holds seven product patents and is a valued Board
member for companies including Micron Industries, Cincinnati Microwave,
Biorex, and Videopropulsion, Inc.
Mr. Korodi currently lives in Dublin, Ohio, where he enjoys hunting
and fishing in his free time. He is also fluent in Hungarian and
German.
